OUR PARTNERS
Metanoia’s work is made possible thanks key partnerships with many organizations (too many to list here all at once).
We refresh this page quarterly with a sampling of partners to give a shout-out to them and the various contributions they make to help us continue pushing forward with our mission.
-
Boeing South Carolina is the only site in the world that contains the full cycle of Dreamliner production. We are grateful for Boeing’s financial investment and steadfast support of our STEM programs and initiatives towards racial equity.
-
The City of North Charleston has been a strong supporter of Metanoia’s efforts to build leaders, establish quality housing, and generate economic development. The City has provided funding and collaboration on numerous Metanoia projects and programs.
-
The College of Charleston frequently partners with Metanoia. Our two strongest partnerships with the college occur with the Bonner Leaders Program and the Honors College. Both programs provide mentors and staff to our efforts in youth leadership.
-
The Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of South Carolina (CBFSC) is a coalition of Baptist churches across the state that provided the initial funding and launch of the effort that would become Metanoia. CBFSC churches continue providing support to Metanoia through financial gifts, volunteer efforts, and prayers.
-
Cummins Inc. has several facilities in the Charleston region and provides financial and volunteer support to an array of Metanoia’s projects and programs. Thank you, Cummins, for the continuous investment in Metanoia.
-
Lowcountry Alliance for Model Communities (LAMC) is a local community-based nonprofit organization founded for the purpose of advocating environmental justice and promoting community development, education, employment, quality housing, and community involvement. Metanoia partners with LAMC on many of our housing initiatives and community advocacy efforts.
-
Metanoia collaborates with Lowcountry Local First in our efforts to generate economic development within our community. Our two organizations collaborate to incubate local Black-owned businesses along Reynolds Avenue and offer training courses tailored to Black and Brown entrepreneurs within the Lowcountry.
-
Metanoia’s primary offices and programs occur within the walls of St. Matthew Baptist Church at 2005 Reynolds Avenue. We could never have made such remarkable progress over the years without prayers and support from the church and its members. We are so grateful for our partnership!
